Jocou, Corps, Vā raconte d'une façon polyphonique un parcours à pied depuis le col de Grimone vers le mont
Jocou, à la frontière entre Isère et Drôme. L’ouvrage est constitué d’un bloc épais comportant deux parties distinctes.
Sur les feuilles blanches imprimées du dessus, le sens du texte humain est assuré par la jonction entre les pages
découpées qui figurent les deux présences du lieu : les strates du Mont Jocou et les rafales du souffle matinal
(Vā). Suivant la ligne de découpe des pages, le texte retrace ma marche du sud au nord. La syntaxe française
portant une difficulté à exprimer l’interrelation entre les différentes parties d’une phrase, j'ai travaillé la langue
en m'inspirant de la syntaxe japonaise qui organise la phrase selon un schéma et un ordre autres que celui du
français. On ne peut ouvrir les épaisses pages colorées du dessous, aux bords rugueux striés, référence aux longues
strates lithiques dont les tranches visibles affleuraient.

Jocou, Corps, Vā tells in a polyphonic way a journey on foot from the Grimone pass to Mount
Jocou, on the border between Isère and Drôme. The book is made up of a thick block with two distinct parts.
On the white printed sheets above, the meaning of the human text is made possible by the junction between the cut-out pages
pages that represent the two presences of the site: the strata of Mount Jocou and the waves of the morning breath
(Vā). Following the line of the cut pages, the text traces my walk from south to north. The French syntax
to express the interrelation between the different parts of a sentence, I worked on the language
the Japanese syntax, which organises the sentence according to a different scheme and order than the French one.
